AORN 55th Congress |
Our featured speaker, Dr. Marla Shapiro, delivered a dynamic presentation on coping with stress, balancing life and battling breast cancer. Through pictures and interactive storytelling, she shared her personal journey with this pervasive disease and helped us all understand how we can keep our lives in equilibrium even when catastrophic events come our way.
We were honored to have Janelle Hail, president of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) with us to talk about the foundation’s generous activities and accept Medline’s 2008 donation of $100,000. This funding will help support healthcare facilities across the nation that offer free mammograms to women in need.

WOCN Society 39th Annual Conference |
It was incredible to see more than 500 WOC nurses at this “invitation-only” dinner. Ann Jillian’s musical performance touched us all. Her Hollywood tales and inspirational breast cancer survival stories kept us all glued to our seats for more than one hour!
Medline was proud to have Janelle Hail, president of the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) with us at the event. She shared her personal survival story and explained how she started the NBCF. |

AHCA Congressional Briefing |
Held on Capitol Hill in May 2007 brought nursing home leaders from
all over the country to the capital to meet with elected officials,
learn about issues impacting residents and gain an understanding of the
new Congress, the Democratic Agenda, the AHCA/NCAL’s legislative goals
for 2007. Attendees met with their congressmen to influence policy
makers about the needs of our most vulnerable and elderly Americans.
