Breakfast Forum at the AORN 57th Congress
More than 1,200 operating room nurses attended this year’s breakfast forum “Together We Can Save Lives Through Early Detection” to hear Olympic gold medalist Peggy Fleming talk about her skating career and battle with breast cancer. She did not disappoint the early morning crowd, who were also treated to a surprise appearance by several other celebrities of sorts – the staff members from Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR., who starred in the “Pink Glove Dance,” a YouTube video sensation that has more than 7.9 million views to date.
